I have been a volunteer in my community for 16 years. I started in '94 and have even created my own 'Informal Non Profit' organization, formerly known as: Wrapped In Love. Now called Mac Doogles' Love.
This was all started for the love and desire to support and comfort my best friend, Lee. He was diagnosed HIV positive in April, 94' and passed away of complications in November, 09'. He was my Best Friend of 28 years and there was NEVER a greater person that walked along side me ~ I extend my humble thanks to Lee for his part in my passion for animals ~ he was like a 'Dr Doolittle' ~ the animals loved him and he, them ~ I dedicate the next stage in my life to Lee ~ Thank you, for still being my Angel!
My service has been as follows:
Western Pa Humane Society - AA in Education and Obedience Department; Work with shelter dogs in Obedience Classes, 2010
Manna Ministries – Providing and Delivering meals for those recovering at home, 2009 to Present.
White Oak Animal Safe Haven – Cleaning cages, feeding, socializing the animals and loving them, 2009 to 2010
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Assist in raising funds and public awareness, 2001 to Present
Mac Doogles' Love, aka Wrapped In Love – Outreach to our community homeless, 2000 to Present
Pittsburgh Aids Task Force – Provided community outreach thru education and prevention choices, 1994 to 2000
